Whitney Renshaw


Hey y'all! My name is Whitney Renshaw and I am so honored to serve the Beta Epsilon Chapter as President! I am from Tyler, Texas and am studying Family and Child Studies. My dream is to to be a full-time nanny one day for a family! I love spontaneity and anything fun! I love to online shop, go on walks, and take road trips to new places! I am so grateful for Sigma Kappa and the life long memories that I have already made while being in house!

Alden McCollum

Vice President of Standards and Values

Hi hi!!! My name is Alden McCollum. I am so honored to be able to serve as Beta Epsilon’s Vice President of Standards and Values. I am studying pre-professional speech pathology with the hopes to become a speech therapist one day in Texas or Tennessee. It has been the best year and a half so far at Louisiana Tech! In my free time I enjoy running, drinking coffee with friends, and dancing. First Baptist Ruston and Sigma Kappa have been such big blessings to me and I will forever be grateful.

Brittany Bryant

Vice President of Programming

My name is Brittany Bryant and I am the Vice President of Programming for the Beta Epsilon Chapter! I am from Bossier City, Louisiana and I am studying Secondary English Education. My dream is to teach high school English and eventually become a principal. For fun, I like to read, hang out with my friends, and watch movies. I am so thankful for Sigma Kappa and all of the opportunities and memories it has given me!

Hope Merchant

Vice President of New Member Education

Hello! My name is Hope Merchant and I serve as the Vice President of New Member Education for the Beta Epsilon chapter. I am currently a senior Business Management major with a concentration in Human Resources. I am from West Monroe, Louisiana! Last summer, I had the privilege of serving as a Gamma Chi during the primary recruitment process. After graduation, I plan to get my MBA here at Louisiana Tech and take over my family’s small business. I love shopping, being with my friends, and eating good food! I am beyond grateful for all of the memories Sigma Kappa has given me, and can’t wait for all of the great times to come!

Noel Lee

Vice President of Membership

Hey! My name is Noel Lee and I am serving as Vice President of Membership for Beta Epsilon. I am a senior Finance major from Pineville, Louisiana. Last year I served as round chairman for preference round of recruitment. After I graduate, I plan to stay in Ruston and get my MBA with a concentration in finance, then pursue a career in financial advising. In my free time, I am a Level 1 Certified CrossFit trainer and love to spend time with my friends! Sigma Kappa has given me my closest friends and fondest memories of college, and I am forever grateful to this sisterhood!

Hello! My name is Whitney Hebert and I serve the chapter as the Vice President of Alumnae Relations. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Mass Communications. Once I’m finished with school, I hope to find a job that allows me to connect and create with people! I’m from Pineville, Louisiana. In my free time, you can find me curled up with a good book, giggling with friends, or singing my heart out in the car! I cherish Sigma Kappa and the personal growth that it has allowed me so very much. The memories that I have made in house are already the ones that I value the most in my collegiate experience!

Vice President of Philanthropic Service

Hello, my name is Madeline Keen and I am the Vice President of Philanthropic Service for the Beta Epsilon Chapter! I am from Ruston, Louisiana and I am studying Biology! My dream job is to be a doctor. I love helping people and have since I was a little girl, I used to pretend my baby dolls were my patients, giving them all kinds of shots and medicine to make them feel better! Some things I love to do outside of school and sorority are hanging with my family and friends, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and taking naps out at the pool! Sigma Kappa has given me many opportunities and pushed me way out of my comfort zone and I am forever thankful for that, and for all the memories that have come and that are to come! The ladies of our chapter push me to be better and I couldn’t be prouder to call them my sisters!

Marissa Heard

Hi, my name is Marissa Heard and I have the honor of serving as Beta Epsilon’s Vice President of Finance! I am from Alexandria, Louisiana, and am majoring in Speech Pathology. If I’m not at the lodge laughing, you can find me playing with my dog or drinking coffee! My biggest dream is to open a private practice & treat kids with speech disorders. I am so thankful for Sigma Kappa and it’s ability to be home full of love, laughter, and growth! I can’t wait for the year ahead!

Holly Ringle

Vice President of Communications and Operations

Hello everyone! My name is Holly Ringle and I am from Monroe, LA. I am so excited to serve my chapter on Executive Council! I am majoring in Business Management concentrated in Human Resources, and I am going to start the MBA concurrent enrollment program here at Tech soon! My favorite place in Ruston is our lodge, I have made so many memories with my sisters there! I can always go there for a study session (or study break). I was so unsure of myself coming into college, but this sorority has pushed me to experience some real personal growth with a support system like no other. I am so thankful for my time in Sigma Kappa and I can’t imagine life here at Tech without my sisters!

Hello, my name is Taylor Metheny! I am a sophomore at Louisiana Tech studying biology. I hope to attend the medical school in my home town of Shreveport, Louisiana. I have a passion for medicine, science, and helping others! Sigma Kappa has given me the opportunity to help others through philanthropy and community service. I can’t wait to see what else this amazing executive council can accomplish!

Hello everyone! My name is Laura Hurd and I am currently serving the Beta Epsilon chapter of Sigma Kappa as the House Chair! I am a sophomore from Shreveport, Louisiana and my major is Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Science, along with a minor in Psychology. I hope to one day be a psychotherapist, as I LOVE working with other people. I am currently involved in Sigma Kappa, Union Board, and Student Recruiters here at Louisiana Tech University! Anyone that knows me knows that I am very loud and very outgoing! I also love to dance, sing, and be around other people! I am so grateful for the opportunities that Louisiana Tech has given me, like being on council in Sigma Kappa and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for our chapter!

Hi! My name is Hayley Fortenberry! I am so excited to be serving as Continuing Membership. I am from a small town in Louisiana named Tallulah. I am majoring in Kinesiology and plan to add a minor in Gerontology. My grandparents are my best friends and I love doing anything fun and new! In my free time you can find me with my friends, eating fried food, or FaceTiming my family. I plan to become a Physical Therapist in a nursing home before I (hopefully) open my own clinic one day! I hope to be able to serve Sigma Kappa as much as I can since it has given me all I could ask for and more. Go Sigma!

Hey everyone! My name is Macy Cox and I have the privilege of being Public Relations for Sigma! I am from Benton, Louisiana and, I am a freshman. I am majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Studies with a minor in Journalism. I hope to one day work for a big fashion magazine in New York City. I love blueberry bagels, flowers, and antique shopping. I adore Sigma Kappa and all of the girls in it. Hey Y’all, My name is Abigail Crowe and I get the privilege to be the current Ritual Chair for Sigma Kappa Beta Epsilon. I am from Bossier City, Louisiana and am majoring in Marketing here at Tech. My dream job is to either work for a large marketing firm in Dallas or work for the Texas Rangers. I love spur of the moment trips and making memories with friends! Sigma Kappa has enriched these loves of mine with all of the wonderful sisters it has brought to my life. I am also the assistant swim coach for Ruston High swim team and Bulldog Aquatics. I love hanging out with my friends, good food, and going on adventures! I am so grateful for all the great friendships I have made in Sigma Kappa.

Hi! My name is Madelyn Elliott! I am so happy to be serving Beta Epsilon as the Sisterhood Chairman. I am a Sophomore majoring in Kinesiology!
